Annabel Pope. Wildlife artist.
Annabel’s paintings capture the untamed beauty of the natural world — every brushstroke alive with energy, character, and spirit. Her remarkable technical skill and deep understanding of wildlife allow her to create works that resonate with both art lovers and conservation enthusiasts alike.
A Passion for Wildlife and Conservation
Annabel has proudly collaborated with leading conservation charities including the Countryside Foundation for Education, the Countryside Alliance, Zambian Conservation, and the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy. Her dedication to wildlife protection shines through not only in her art, but also in her ongoing support for these vital causes.
Her work has been featured on the TUSK Christmas card every year since 2016, as well as on the Countryside Alliance card, helping raise funds and awareness for conservation efforts worldwide.
Celebrated globally
Annabel’s paintings are displayed in some of Kenya’s exclusive wildlife lodges, including Offbeat Safaris, Borana, Lewa Wilderness, and Sirikoi. In 2011, she was honoured to be appointed Artist in Residence at Little Governors Camp in the Masai Mara, where she collaborated with renowned wildlife experts Jonathan Scott and Warren Samuels from the BBC’s Big Cat Diary series.
Closer to home she loves spending time in the countryside and takes on varied commissions from African wildlife to someone’s favourite pet, which include dogs, horses, cows and runner ducks!
